We use a combination of profile ownership verification, company review processes, and community reporting tools to help maintain accurate and useful information.
1. How Profiles Are Added
Profiles may be added through:
- Company registration
- Profile claims
- Publicly available business information
- Directory research and review
Organizations and providers can claim and manage their own profiles.
2. Claimed Profiles
A Claimed Profile indicates that an authorized representative has claimed ownership of the profile and can manage company information.
Claimed status helps improve profile accuracy but does not constitute endorsement by VettedWay.
3. Verified Profiles
Verified Profiles have completed additional review steps.
Verification may include:
- Business website review
- Industry relevance review
- Profile completeness review
- Company information review
Verification indicates that additional information has been reviewed by VettedWay.
Verification does not constitute endorsement, certification, recommendation, or guarantee.
4. Featured Providers
Featured Placement is a visibility opportunity available to approved providers seeking additional exposure within the VettedWay network.
Featured status reflects placement and visibility only.
Featured status does not constitute endorsement or recommendation.
5. Future Expert Verification
The following describes a planned VettedWay Expert Network that is not yet available.
When the Expert Network launches, experts may undergo additional review that can include:
- Industry experience
- Professional credentials
- Portfolio review
- Professional references
- Community feedback
Additional expert requirements may vary by specialty.
6. Reporting Inaccuracies

The VettedWay team reviews reported issues and may update, remove, or request clarification when appropriate.
